Greetings,
Industry Day 2019 provides a platform for industry professionals to interact with students and share opportunities available in the career fields of engineering, construction, technology, aviation/transportation, and other critical infrastructure sectors – power, water/wastewater, and communications. Industry Day 2019 is unlike traditional career fairs which only feature exhibits or booths. We make the connection between the classroom, careers, and communities – with dynamic industry speakers in interactive sessions with students; provide timely information on internship, scholarship, and mentoring opportunities; and, include students in every aspect of the planning and programming for the day.

We are also excited to announce that this year, Cardozo’s TransSTEM Academy Industry Day has joined the 7th Annual INFRASTRUCTURE WEEK of events, education and advocacy - #BuildForTommorrow. Cardozo’s TransSTEM Academy has a 28-year history of demonstrating both the critical workforce needs and challenges across the transportation sector. And, most importantly, the results that are possible in Next Generation infrastructure sector career/workforce development for our most vulnerable and historically under-represented youth when schools, business, labor, families and communities work together.

We invite your participation as a partner/supporter for our 10th Annual Industry Day 2019, hosted by the
Transportation STEM Academy (TransSTEM) at the Francis L. Cardozo Education Campus in Washington, DC on May 14, 2019 and sponsored by the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC), District Department of Transportation (DDOT), and Introducing Youth to American Infrastructure+ (IYAI+).
Attached is the Sponsorship Prospectus. Partner Investors gain:

 Increased visibility and enhanced brand recognition among owners, executives, organizations, individual
practitioners, and others actively involved in the transportation industry.
 Opportunities to present your message and make lasting impressions on the students and professional peers
in person at this annual industry day event.
 Recognition for your company’s/organization’s investment at the event.
 …AND MORE!

We thank you in advance for your participation and support, and the impact that you make on the lives of the students at this very important event.

Sincerely,

Industry Day Committee
