Membership & Chapter Development
The Membership committee is dedicated to strengthening the infrastructure of the organization at the local level and thus increases its membership base. The committee serves as the communication avenue between NABWIC’s leadership and its membership.

Education & Training
The Education and Training committee strives to provide educational programs aimed at improving science, technical and math education and opportunities for women and girls; supporting minorities pursuing graduate and undergraduate degrees, conducting bonding workshops, conducting construction management series, and other topics related to the construction industry.

The role of the Finance committee is to ensure the organization’s financial stability by providing financial oversight on its budget and investments. The committee is responsible for budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting, and the creation and monitoring of internal controls and accountability policies.

Marketing & Communications
The Marketing and Communications committee provides leadership, advice, and assistance to assure that a positive public image for NABWIC is displayed among its audiences and stakeholders.

The Legislative committee recommends actions to be taken on legislative issues and assists in developing the NABWIC legislative agenda.

The events committee has oversight and responsibility for development, operations, sponsorship, management, and promotion of NABWIC, as well as sponsorship activities for all major meeting and conferences.

Featured Member: Detroit Chapter Member Tylene Henry
Featured member is new NABWIC board member Tylene Henry MBA, Financial Representative. An entrepreneur, powerful change agent, and staunch advocate for socioeconomic parity, Tylene believes that her faith, character, and mindset of abundance have been the foundation of her continued success. Tylene has been referred to as the "follow up queen" as a result of her "3 P's" professional, patience, and persistence in developing relationships and access to resources necessary to create positive impact on the communities she serves. Tylene is president of NABWIC's Detroit Chapter and also leads NABWIC's Sponsorship Committee.
